In various small and mid-sized organisations the HR & admin functions are clubbed together as it may not require separate teams to handle these functions. Moreover the complexities involved would be less due to lesser number of employees to handle and smaller area of operations. In such cases it is imperative that the professionals handling such roles are conversant with both the functions.
Thus this course of PG Diploma in HR & Administration will provide the candidate with the knowledge related to some of the core (transactional) functions of HR as well as some functions of Admin work

Course Structure
This shall be a work integrated PG Diploma in HR & Administration will be conducted over a period of one year and will cover 300 hours of classroom training (20 credits) and 600 hours (20 credits) of on the job training.

The Post Graduate Diploma shall consist of three core courses covering the generic HR subjects and other one course covering the administrative area.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance
Performance Management (Performance Appraisal)
General Administration

Students will be assessed on project work and a written examination that will be conducted at the end of the course.
